Deacon Board
Deacons provide spiritual leadership to our church family along with our Pastor(s). Their duties include visitation, providing counsel, assisting the Pastor(s) with Love Feast and Communion, and fielding concerns from the church.

Responsibilities of the Deacons
Care of the Church Body
* Ministry to the poor and needy in the congregation.
* Ministry to the sick and shut-ins of the congregation.
* Ministry to the bereaved (those who have lost loved ones).
* Ministry of reconciliation and restoration by participating in efforts to settle differences among members.
* Seek new forms of ministry to serve the needs of the congregation.
* Review and update church membership files and statuses.
* Review and update church directory.

* Prepare the church for Love Feast and Communion
* Minister at Love Feast and Communion
* Minister at Love Feast and Communion
Assist in Pastoral Care
* Assist at baptism by helping in preparation of baptism and greeting those who have been baptized.
* Serve as shepherds of small groups by keeping vital contact with families and individuals, being aware of new families moving into the area, leading individuals and families to find fellowship in the congregations while they seek their commitment to Christ, and provide assistance with ongoing spiritual development and growth of individuals.
* Be available to assist with the anointing service.
* Assist the Pastor(s) as needed.
