Board of Christian Education

The Board of Christian Education oversees the teaching and spiritual formation ministries of the church. Their role is to ensure that Christian education for all ages is organized, biblically grounded, and carried out faithfully, while supporting teachers, volunteers, and special programs that help the congregation grow in knowledge and faith.

Responsibilities

Oversight
The board organizes, promotes, and oversees all Sunday Church School and educational ministries. This includes setting direction, coordinating schedules and events, and ensuring that instruction is purposeful and Christ-centered.
Leadership, Staffing, and Support
The board selects and supports teachers and leaders for Sunday School, Bible study, Vacation Bible School, and special programs. They also enlist committees as needed and work to equip those serving in educational roles.
Milestones, Programs, and Special Events
The board coordinates key events and milestones such as Rally Day, Easter programs, VBS, church school activities, and recognition of graduates. They also ensure that Bibles and meaningful gifts are provided at important stages of life.
